The Journal of Sharia Fundamentals for Specialized Researches is published quarterly, it is designed for whoever researcher seeking welfare that is based on knowledge. It seeks to provide a platform for the excellent researchers to present and consider the values and themes of various religious and social sciences acquired by learning and practice. It aimed at becoming a meeting point and channel for researchers to publish their innovative works, with regard to the interpretation of Islamic Sharia sciences and its regulations and the enhancing of social sciences to become adequate programs that serve the human and society in a significant and neutral way.
Our mission is to maintain the efforts of researchers and their innovative works in Islamic Sharia sciences known for its human civilizational value, through which we can spread awareness among people and ensure respect and strength of Islamic identity in different scientific, cultural, and social environments.
Therefore, this journal is designed to serve as a platform to identify the various religious and social dimensions of knowledge, such as considering the Holy Quran as the foremost and fundamental source of Islamic rules followed by the Sunah (biography of the Prophet Mohammed Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) that explains and clarifies the Holy Quran, along with its affiliated Sharia studies on the individual and society, such as studies concerned with Ijtihad which focuses on the studying of modern issues and finding solutions to them.
The dissertation explores an important and pressing necessity among sick Muslims in general and residents of Al Madinah Al Munawarah in particular. It focuses on the impact of seeking and applying cure in Quran and Sunnah on psychic, spiritual and organic diseases in a correct way that is entirely far from all kinds of swindle or associating anything with Allah.
The dissertation presents an analytical study of seeking cure in Quran and Sunnah in the research coverage area, the diseases that are cured by the Holy Quran and Sunnah, and to what extent Al Madinah residents follow and apply correct cure seeking. The research is such a quantitative study that is based on collecting data via questionnaires and analyzing it (the data) using the SPSS program. The study includes 299 sick residents of Al Madinah Al Munawarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The results of the survey show that most patients in the area of study are keen on protecting themselves by the Holy Quran and Prophet Mohammad’s invocations before being caught by diseases. They also believe that the Quranic recitations have a huge impact on the remedy of psychic, spiritual and organic diseases.
The results of the study indicate that almost all ruqyahas or Quranic recitations over patients are legitimate due to the efforts exerted by al-amr bilma ‘ ruf wannahyu ‘an al-munkar authority (The Enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong Authority). The recorded median reached a high degree of 3.89. The researcher recommends establishing specialized centers in which people seek cure that is derived from the Holy Quran and Sunnah, and under the supervision of an integrated team of psychiatrics, social workers and the people who recite the ruqyaha.
